Reconstruction of the cleft nasal deformity can often pose a significant challenge to a rhinoplasty surgeon. Principal features of unilateral and bilateral cleft nasal deformities and their changes with growth are discussed. This article reviews current trends in cleft nasal rhinoplasty associated with early and late intervention. Finally, the authors review their own data on the applications of what are deemed current trends in reconstructive rhinoplasty associated with cleft deformities. (Plast. Reconstr.
